Kawasaki ZR7 S 2002
This bike was purchased from Powersports at Claycross in 2004.It was 18 months old when i collected it and was in lovely condition with service history new tyres ect with 6000 miles on the clock. Mine for £3000 but i had to get rid of my Gpz 500s to fund it.
It has been trouble free needing nothing other than 2 sets of tyres to date and oil and filter and plug changes.A tank of gas lasts 160 miles as i found out at Matlock when i ran out of gas and was already on reserve tank.And its good for 130MPH.
I have just altered the gearing with a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket after reading Bike magazine It slows it down a bit but now the front lifts easily off the throttle and it still does 120 MPH at 10000 RPM Too fast in this age of speed cameras. BOO!
I use my bike everyday whatever the weather but at this time of year it takes a lot of cleaning.It has just gone over to 16000 miles now and the swingarm now has some rust spots that will need touching up from stone chips Other than that it stlill looks tidy for its age now.
